Linda Weil-Curiel (born 28 September 1943 in Papeete) is a French lawyer.
[1] Linda Weil-Curiel began her career as a lawyer at the Paris Bar in 1973.
[2] In 1982, she undertook the first major effort, to have female genital mutilation admitted to as criminal offense.
In 1992, with Anne-Marie Lizin and Annie Sugier, she protested the absence of female athletes in 35 of the delegations taking part in the 1992 Summer Olympic Games.
She is a friend of Annie Sugier and Anne Zelensky, founders of the League of International Women's Law.
