9-1-1 is an American procedural drama television series created by Ryan Murphy,[1] Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear for Fox.

The series follows the lives of Los Angeles first responders: police officers, paramedics, firefighters and dispatchers.

[4] The pandemic also caused the series' season to be shortened to 14 episodes.

On May 16, 2022, Fox renewed the series for a sixth season which premiered on September 19, 2022.

However, it was picked up and renewed for a seventh season by ABC, which premiered on March 14, 2024.

[9] On April 2, 2024, ABC renewed the series for an eighth season which premiered on September 26, 2024.
