He has an argument with his former wife Gayle who has filed suit to have full custody of their son Hobie.
A young women, Laurie Harris (Mädchen Amick), attempts suicide by jumping off a pier, and is rescued by Craig Pomeroy who takes her back to his tower to keep an eye on her.
She develops an extreme infatuation with him, and when Craig is about to close his tower, Laurie disrobes and tries to seduce him.
