"I'm Always Here" (also known as "I'll Be Ready"[1]) is a song by Jimi Jamison[2] and it is most recognized as the theme of the popular 1990s TV series Baywatch, used for seasons 2 through 10.
[3] Jamison is credited as the lyricist on this song along with Joe Henry, who co-wrote the Rascal Flatts hit "Skin" (not to be mistaken for the Joe Henry who wrote Madonna's "Don't Tell Me").
Songfacts website wrote that the line "I won't let you out of my sight," whilst appropriate song for a TV series about lifeguards, could be related to a commitment to a girl, telling her that the singer will always be there for her.
