In the European Union many ETFs are traded as cross-border UCITS III funds.
For example the UK iShares and ETF Securities are Irish registered UCITS funds and trade on the London Stock Exchange.
Other ETFs are offered by Indexchange Investments AG, whose funds are listed in Germany on the Deutsche Börse.
