This article handles air-to-surface special attack units by "Action Order only" and does not cover air-to-air suicide attack groups like the Shinten Air Superiority Group (Shinten Seikūtai [ja])m Type 4 suicide boat group the Army Maritime Assault Squadron (Rikugun Kaijō Teishin Sentai [ja]) and other voluntary special/suicide attacks.
