Total Incidents: 36 The Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan carried out a car bomb suicide mission in which eight people lost their lives.
The intended target was Chaudhary Aslam Khan Swati, the head of the Sindh Police's Counter Terrorism Unit and chief of the Anti-Extremism Cell, at his residence in the posh Defence Housing Society Phase VIII neighbourhood, next to a school.
