This is a list of countries by papaya production from 2017 to 2022, based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database.

[1] The estimated total world production for papayas in 2022 was 13,822,328 metric tonnes, down by 1.9% from 14,086,181 tonnes in 2021.

[1] India was by far the largest producer, accounting for over 38% of global production.
