Many motions of no confidence have been put to the vote by one or more Members of Parliament in the Senate and House of Representatives of The Netherlands.
The Party for Freedom and its predecessor Group Wilders in particular submitted many motions of no confidence, but none passed.
[3] The low success rate is partly because ministers often resign before a vote, when they suspect that a motion will pass or will receive strong support.
