Elizabeth Grant is a Scottish academic who is an Assistant Principal and Director of the Global Health Academy[1] at the University of Edinburgh[2] She is a researcher and educator in the areas of palliative care[3] compassion[4][5] and global health[6] and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh[7][8] and the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh and holds a chair in Global Health and Development.
[2] Grant sits on the Scottish Government NHS Global Citizenship Board which approves strategies and plans that support the policies and priorities set by the Scottish Government's International Development Strategy.
[9] She was on the Board of Directors for the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, (CUGH) and currently chairs the CUGH Research Committee.
She has worked as part of Scottish initiatives in Malawi,[11] Kenya[12] and Zambia[13] including working with Mhoira Leng, FRSE.
