Liz Moore (author)

After a brief time as a musician in New York City, which inspired her first novel, Oleggio Capitale (2007), Moore shifted her focus to writing.

Moore grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts and received a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in Manhattan, New York City.

She received a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from Hunter College in New York City in 2009.

[3] Moore teaches in the MFA program at Temple University in Philadelphia.

[4] Moore's novel The God of the Woods was selected as the Barnes & Noble Book Club pick in July 2024.
