Lorenzo D. Collins (July 13, 1821 Whitehall, Washington County, New York – July 16, 1898) was an American businessman, banker and politician from New York.
He moved to West Troy in about 1841 and in 1843 opened a grocery and provision store and Livery yard there.
In 1850, he added storage and forwarding to his business and later also owned canal boats.
He was the first Supervisor of the Town of Colonie, elected in 1895.
He died of pneumonia, and was buried at the Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, New York.
