Louis Cheek

Louis Ray Cheek, Jr. (born October 6, 1964) is an American former professional football offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Green Bay Packers.

He played college football at Texas A&M University and was selected by the Dolphins in the eighth round of the 1988 NFL draft.

He became a four-year starter at left tackle, while helping the team win three Southwest Conference championships (1985-1987).

In his only start, he faced future pro football hall of famer Bruce Smith and held him sackless.

On March 29, 1990, the Dallas Cowboys signed Cheek as a Plan B free agent.
