"Love on Top of Love", subtitled "Killer Kiss" on single releases, was produced by C+C Music Factory's David Cole and Robert Clivilles.

The song met with considerable success and reached #1 on the Billboard Hot Club Dance Play chart for two weeks in December 1989.

The music video features Jones wearing a swimsuit and sunglasses in a pool with a black-and-white screen in the background showing her smoking.

A subsequent scenes show Jones in bed wearing a swim cap while surrounded by men.

Jones originally shot the video with a Danish actor Sven-Ole Thorsen, whom she dated,[1] playing her boyfriend but his scenes were cut out.
