Lowndes H. Davis

Lowndes Henry Davis (December 13, 1836 – February 4, 1920) was an American politician who served the state of Missouri in the U.S. House of Representatives between 1879 and 1885.

He graduated from Yale College in 1860, where he was a member of Skull and Bones,[1] and from Louisville University Law School in 1863.

Between 1868 and 1872, Davis served as state attorney for the tenth judicial district of Missouri.

He died in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, on February 4, 1920, and was buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in Huntsville, Alabama.
