Luc Bovens is a Belgian professor of philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
He has also published work, of some controversy to the anti-abortion movement, on issues regarding abortion and natural family planning methods of contraception.
[1][2] Bovens attended the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, studying Social Sciences, before moving to the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
He was a professor in and the head of the department of Philosophy, Logic and Scientific Method at the London School of Economics 2004 through 2017.
[2] In 2018 Bovens joined the Philosophy Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a professor, and core member of the Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) Program.
