Luc Sala

Lucius Hendrikus Dominicus Josephus Sala (13 December 1949 – 14 April 2023) was a Dutch businessman and writer.

He worked for Fasson, Bruynzeel and Philips, but in 1982, he founded the media company Sala Communications.

In 1987, Sala began the computer shop BCE, originally as a trade point for second-hand hardware.

He was in contact with amongst others Timothy Leary, Terence McKenna, Jaron Lanier and John Perry Barlow.

Leading up to the year 2000, Sala repeatedly warned about the millennium bug and its possible consequences.
