Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology

Often called just School of Information Technology, it is a division of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.

[2] Research at the School of Information Technology includes studies of constraint satisfaction and discrete optimisation, digital image processing, machine learning, mobile computing, and natural language processing.

Guy Parmelin who was then Bundesrat responsible for defence and security, and is now president of Switzerland, inaugurated the program that he had promoted.

[3] The school and the division of innovation and technology launched a project in 2017 aiming at a connection and collaboration between small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) and start-ups.

The companies expect qualified personnel and a collaboration in education and research.
