Catrina also brought in a trio called "the Disciples of Death" (Barrio Negro, El Sinestro de la Muerte and Trece).

Another notable subplot focused on Pentagon Jr.’s descent into darkness, where he frequently ended the careers of various luchadores and sacrificed their arms to his "Master", who was ultimately revealed to be Vampiro, the ringside commentator.
