Luis Gabriel Rey Mejía (born 14 September 2002), is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Liga de Expansión MX club Tapatío.
Rey made his professional debut with Mazatlán on 17 January 2021 coming on as a 62nd minute substitute against UNAM in a 0–3 defeat.
[4] He made his debut on 1 August 2023 coming on as a substitute in the 65th minute in a 1–1 draw against Alebrijes de Oaxaca.
[5] Under head-coach, Arturo Ortega, Rey made his first team debut on 19 October 2024 in a 2–0 win against Pachuca.
[6][7] On 6 February 2025, during a CONCACAF Champions Cup round one match against Cibao, he would score his first goal in a 1–1 draw.
