Lucas Martin "Luke" Kruytbosch (/ˈkraɪtbɒs/ KRYTE-boss; May 27, 1961 – July 14, 2008) was an American Thoroughbred horse racing announcer.
He called the world's richest Quarter Horse race, the All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs, six times.
In 1996 he was named track announcer at Hollywood Park Racetrack, then in 1999 he moved on to Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky.
After calling the day's races at Ellis Park on July 13, 2008, Kruytbosch reportedly told co-workers that he was not feeling well.
[1] The following day he was found dead in his Evansville, Indiana apartment after failing to show up for an Ellis Park event.
