Luo Gongliu (5 January 1916 – 22 October 2004)[1] (other name: Kung Kiu) was a Chinese painter and printmaker.
[2] He was born in the town of Youshan in Guangdong province.
[1] He began his career as a woodcut artist and later took up oil painting.
He was a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)[3] and depicted the Chinese Communist Revolution in his art.
He became vice president of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1979.
