Lyell baronets

There have been two baronetcies created for members of the Lyell family, both in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom.

The Lyell Baronetcy, of Kinnordy in the County of Forfar,[1] was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 22 August 1864 for the prominent Scottish geologist Charles Lyell.

The Lyell Baronetcy, of Kinnordy in the County of Forfar,[2] was created in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom on 1 January 1894 for the Scottish Liberal politician Leonard Lyell.

He was the nephew of the first Baronet of the 1864 creation.

The baronetcy became extinct along with the barony in 2017.
