Lygia Louise Irene Kraag-Keteldijk (born 18 July 1941) is a Surinamese politician who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs in the cabinet of President Venetiaan between 2005 and 2010.
In 1959, she graduated high school, and went to the Netherlands to study non-western sociology at the University of Utrecht.
[2] In 2000, Kraag-Keteldijk became Director of Political Affairs in the cabinet of President Ronald Venetiaan.
[3] On 2 September 2005, Kraag-Keteldijk was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and served until 12 August 2010.
[4] On 3 October 2007, she addressed the United Nations General Assembly with regards to Climate change in Suriname.
