Lymantria

Lymantria is a genus of tussock moths in the family Erebidae.

They are widely distributed throughout Europe, Japan, India, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Java, and Celebes.

In the male, the palpi are porrect (extending forward) and hairy.

Forewings with veins 3, 4 and 5 from close to angle of cell.

In female, antennae serrate (tooth like on one side).
