M. A. Matin was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and a former member of parliament for Comilla-23 and Chandpur-5.
[1] Matin was elected to parliament from Chandpur-5 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 1991.
He lost the 1996 election to Bangladesh Awami League candidate Rafiqul Islam.
[2][3] He was elected a member of parliament from the undivided Comilla-23 constituency (present Chandpur-5) in the 1979 Bangladeshi general election.
