M. Humayun Kabir is a Bangladeshi diplomat and former ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States.

[3] He joined the University of Dhaka in 1977 as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science and taught there till 1980.

[3] Kabir worked as the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh based in Kolkata from 1999 to 2001.

[3] Kabir was appointed the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States in July 2007 and worked there till 2009.

[6] Kabir is the president of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute[6] and a trustee board member of the Asian University for Women.
