M. J. Naidoo

Mooroogiah Jayarajapathy Naidoo (1931–1997) was a South African Indian political activist and lawyer who was the president of the Natal Indian Congress.

[1][2] He was a member of the Durban Six and a defendant in the Pietermaritzburg Treason Trial.

[3][4] He died in 1997, aged 66.

[5] Naidoo's brother, M. D. Naidoo, was also a prominent activist, and his sister Tim Naidoo married Mac Maharaj in 1958.
