M/V ARC Independence, formerly M/V Faust is a large ro-ro car carrier built in 2007 by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering for Wallenius Lines AB, Sweden.

It is currently (since 2018 or 2019) operated by American Roll-On Roll-Off Carrier (ARC), having formerly served with Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics.

It is sometimes incorrectly reported that in 2004, the M/V Faust was renamed to M/V Liberty.

The Faust which was renamed to Liberty was built by Oshima Shipbuilding in Japan and launched in 1985; at 660' in length and 52,000 gross tons, she was significantly smaller than the vessel which is now the ARC Independence.
