The film stars T. R. Mahalingam, Pandari Bai and Mynavathi, with Manorama (in her acting debut), Kaka Radhakrishnan and C. Lakshmi Rajyam in supporting roles.

Chandru's mind changes and he makes Sarasu leave the house to uphold his family values.
