Mads Kikkenborg

Mads Juhl Kikkenborg (born 7 October 1999) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht.

On 19 December 2019 it was confirmed, that Kikkenborg would play the rest of the 2019-20 season on loan for Danish 2nd Division club FC Sydvest 05.

[7] With three strong goalkeepers in the squad, Kikkenborg had to wait until 6 November 2021 before he made his debut: it was in a league match against Hvidovre IF, which they lost 0-1.

[11][12] On 27 January 2024 it was confirmed, that Kikkenborg had joined Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht on a deal until June 2028.

[13] Kikkenborg managed to spend 2.5 years in Lyngby and made 53 appearances in the Royal Blue jersey and could now look forward to a life in Anderlecht, where he would become teammates with a lot of other Danes; Anders Dreyer, Kasper Dolberg, Thomas Delaney and Kasper Schmeichel, led by Danish head coach Brian Riemer and football director Jesper Fredberg.
