Her 2001 film, To Find, To See, To Bury tells the story of the Srebrenica massacre.
In 2002, she directed a documentary TV series Chicago portraying the life of Polish community in the US state of Illinois.
[2] In 2004, she made her feature film debut when she directed Pręgi ("Welts") tackling the issue of domestic violence and based on the prose of Nike Award-winning author Wojciech Kuczok.
[3] It was also selected as the Polish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 77th Academy Awards.
[4] Since 2018, she has served as the artistic director at the Adam Mickiewicz Theatre in Częstochowa.
