Magele Ate

Magele Tagaileono Ate Penn (26 June 1921 – 26 May 1982)[1] was a Western Samoan politician.

Ate worked for the New Zealand Reparation Estates.

He was elected to the Legislative Assembly unopposed from the Faasaleleaga No.

Although, the result was subsequently overturned and a by-election ordered for 10 June,[3] Ate was returned again.

[6] He contested the 1976 elections, but failed to regain his seat.
