Malawi competed at the 2019 African Games held from 19 to 31 August 2019 in Rabat, Morocco.

Miriam Kachingwe and Moneyi Chingaipe competed in the women's 1500 metres event.

Joseph Mwale, Gerald Mphungu, Daisy Nkhoma and Tupokiwe Msukwa competed in chess.

[6][7] Salam Issa and Floriano Junior Massah represented Malawi in table tennis.

In the men's doubles event they lost their match against Mohamed Elbeialy and Ahmed Saleh, representing Egypt.
