The Manasquan Public Schools is a comprehensive community public school district that serves students from kindergarten through twelfth grade from Manasquan, in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.
From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
[4] In addition to students from Manasquan, the district's high school also serves public school students from Avon-by-the-Sea, Belmar, Brielle, Lake Como, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, and Spring Lake Heights, who attend Manasquan High School as part of sending/receiving relationships with their respective districts.
As a Type II school district, the board's trustees are elected directly by voters to serve three-year terms of office on a staggered basis, with three seats up for election each year held (since 2012) as part of the November general election.
[19][20] The sending districts of Belmar, Brielle and Sea Girt each appoint representatives to serve on the Manasquan school board who are eligible to vote on matters related to the high school.
