The film stars N. T. Rama Rao, Rajasulochana with music composed by Ghantasala.

[1] The film begins in a village where Raju, a peasant, dotes & rears his sibling Janaki.

From childhood, Venkatappa's niece, Advocate Rani, loves Raghu, and elders want to knit them.

Meanwhile, Raju fixes Janaki's alliance when Venkatappa ruses by confiscating his property to pay off his debts.

Janaki, left alone, encounters consequences, and destiny tosses her towards Raghu, who shelters and nuptials her.

Here, Raju makes a play by divulging actuality to Raghu, counterfeiting his death, and hiding-uniting him with Janaki.
