Manoj Malaviya is a 1986 batch Indian Police Service officer who is currently the State Police Advisor (SPA), West Bengal,[1][2] an ex-cadre post equivalent to DGP rank.

Before this he served as the Director General of West Bengal Police from August 2021 to December 2023.

He was promoted to the rank of Director General in 2017 and held the post till 2023.

Madan Mohan Malaviya, the founder of Benaras Hindu University, and four time president of the Indian National Congress.

He has also served in several positions, including as the Superintendent of Police of Nadia, Midnapore, and Bardhaman districts.
