Marcelle Narbonne

Marcelle Narbonne (25 March 1898 – 1 January 2012) was, at the time of her death, the oldest living person in France and Europe.

In 1962 she moved to mainland France when Algeria gained its independence from the French.

Narbonne lived with her younger sister until her death at the age of 95 in 1999.

On her 112th birthday in 2010, Narbonne was reported to be physically weak and walked short distances.
