His will seems to be concerned that his children might make demands upon his widow and for this reason he made appointed two guardians.

Although her husband had made specific arrangements for the education of their children she appealed to the queen and she received a pension of 600 Rixdaler a year.

[3] Axel was the chancellor of Sweden and she wrote to him to ask for money owing to her dead husband.

He had some prestige in the Swedish army but correspondence shows that it was Margaret who held greater status.
