Margaret Glaspy is an American singer and songwriter based in New York City.

[1] Glaspy was born in Sacramento on January 22, 1989, and grew up in Red Bluff, California.

[2] She was only able to afford to attend college for one semester, but continued to sneak into workshops and masterclasses on the campus.

[4] Glaspy began her solo career by releasing an EP in July 2012 titled Homeschool.

[8][9][10][11][12] Early in 2019 Glaspy played on a North American tour with Neko Case and Kimya Dawson.
