Fepulea'i Margie Apa (born 1973/1974) is a New Zealand healthcare manager and head of Te Whatu Ora, the health authority which came into operation in July 2022.
[2] Apa has held positions as Deputy Director General in the Ministry of Health, and executive roles at Capital and Coast District Health Board, the Labour Market Policy Group, State Services Commission and the Health Funding Authority.
[4] She was appointed chief executive of CMDHB in 2018, the first Samoan to head a District Health Board.
[5] Apa was appointed in December 2021 as chief executive of the interim Health New Zealand, heading the organisation from July 2022.
[6][7] She resigned from the role on 7 February 2025 four months ahead of the end of her contract.
