The Central District of Chaharborj County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان چهاربرج)[b] is in West Azerbaijan province, Iran.

[4][c] In 2021, Marhemetabad District[d] was separated from Miandoab County in the establishment of Chaharborj County and renamed the Central District.

The new county was divided into two districts of two rural districts each, with Chahar Borj as its capital and only city at the time.

[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 26,219 inhabitants in 7,797 households.
