Mariann Stratton

Rear Admiral Mariann Stratton (born 1945) was the Director of the United States Navy Nurse Corps from 1991 to 1994.

[1][3] Later she earned master's degrees in nursing from the University of Virginia and in human resource management from Webster College.

[1][2] In 1971 she attended the celebration in Hartford, Connecticut, marking the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Navy Nurse Corps.

[6] Stratton became Director of the Navy Nurse Corps in 1991, and was promoted to the rank of rear admiral (lower half).

[1] As director, Stratton led the "Working Group on Prevention of Sexual Harassment for Women in the Navy and Marine Corps" after the Tailhook scandal.
