Marie-Louise Eta

Marie-Louise Eta (née Bagehorn; born 7 July 1991) is a German former footballer who played as a midfielder for Frauen-Bundesliga club Werder Bremen, among others.

[1] In 2023, after being appointed assistant coach to Marco Grote at Union Berlin, Eta became the first woman to serve in this role with a men's Bundesliga side[2] and with a team in the men's UEFA Champions League.

[3] Eta retired from playing at the end of the 2017–18 season, aged 26.
