Marina Ogilvy

Marina was born at Thatched House Lodge in Richmond Park, London, the home of her parents.

She was named after her maternal grandmother, Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark, who was also a first cousin of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

She was baptised on 2 September 1966 at the Private Chapel at Kensington Palace by Arthur Michael Ramsey, Archbishop of Canterbury.

She claimed that her parents tried to pressure her into having an abortion or a shotgun wedding, and that they cut off her funds and disowned her when she refused.

[2] She also said that she wrote a letter to Queen Elizabeth II, addressing her "Dear Cousin Lilibet", asking her to intervene in the family dispute.
