Mario Nicola Napolitano (10 February 1910, in Acquaviva delle Fonti – 31 October 1995, in Florence) was an Italian chess master.
He had played many times in the Italian championships and local tournaments – before, during and after World War II.
In 1953, Mario Napolitano finished 2nd-3rd with Harald Malmgren, behind Cecil Purdy, in the 1st World Correspondence Chess Championship.
Awarded the International Correspondence Chess Grandmaster title.
