The racial makeup of the township was 95.45% White, 1.40% African American, 0.11% Native American, 0.91% Asian, 0.06% Pacific Islander, 0.75% from other races, and 1.32% from two or more races.

14.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 3.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
