Marjorie Clapprood

Marjorie O'Neill Clapprood[1] (born September 24, 1949, in Boston, Massachusetts[2] ) is an American former politician and talk show host who served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 8th Norfolk District from 1985 to 1991.

She was a candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Massachusetts in 1990, winning the Democratic nomination, but losing in the general election.

In 1998, Clapprood ran for the United States House of Representatives seat in Massachusetts's 8th congressional district.

[3] Following her defeat in 1990, Clapprood joined WHDH radio as a talk show host and taught a class at Clark University.
