Mark Hamilton OBE[1] is a former senior Northern Ireland police officer.
He served as the Deputy Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland from January 2020 until his retirement in September 2024.
He joined the senior leadership team in July 2013 as Assistant Chief Constable for the Service Improvement Department.
Hamilton was made an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire in the 2019 Birthday Honours for services to policing and the community in Northern Ireland.
[5] In January 2020, the Northern Ireland Policing Board selected Hamilton to be the Deputy Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland.
