Martin Nduwimana

Martin Nduwimana (born 1958) was the First Vice-President of Burundi from 29 August 2005 to November 2007.

He is an ethnic Tutsi member of the Union for National Progress (UPRONA) party.

According to the constitution, Burundi's First Vice-President is responsible for political and administrative affairs.

[1] This followed UPRONA's disapproval of what it considered to be Nduwimana's failure to unhold the party's interests in the government.

[3] Afterwards, Nduwimana was reported to be seeking work with the United Nations Integrated Office in Burundi.
